June - August we'll be teaming up with a variety of fitness and wellness studios to bring you Wellness Wednesdays –– a series of free programming! This series will run every week at participating studios. *This year we will not be holding classes in Independence Park in preparation for new park construction.

Experience tranquility through a gentle movement and breath practice guided by experienced yoga and sound healers, Leslie and Amie! Meditation is proven to heal the brain and improve immune function. Release stress and increase happiness. Feel deeply relaxed, restored, and ready to enjoy the summer.

Anchor is The Yoga Post's (TYP) foundational flow. Perfect for studio newbies and TYP vetrans. Experience our innovative approach to yoga in our special Central Street Wellness Wednesday 45 minute class. While all TYP classes strive to increase mobility and strength and reduce pain, Anchor gives you a foundation to bring into other classes and activities. We use body awareness to achieve soul awareness. 
Expect to move in all directions on your mat, to use blocks, and to come at yoga asana (poses) from a unique perspective. Your mind will be turned on, no checking out in TYP classes. Expect your joints to feel hydrated, more mobile, and strong. Making you feel more calm and at home in your body.

Cycle/Strength alternates between strength exercises and short bursts on the bike. While the intensity is high, there are no high impact exercises. Even though there is no jumping or explosive movement, you can still expect to increase your heart rate during class.
